Shipping & Returns

  1. SHIPPING TIME: All parts are typically shipped next business day via UPS Ground Service although some parts do take up to three business days to ship. As soon as your package is shipped out the tracking number will be available to you by our shipping department. IF we cannot ship your part within three business days, we will contact you with an expected ship date. You should expect your part within 5-10 business days of ordering depending on where you live relative to our distribution center.


  2. PARTIAL SHIPMENTS: We make every effort to ship all products in a single shipment. If, for any reason, we cannot ship one or more items due to backorder, we will ship the parts that are available and credit your account accordingly. If a small item (e.g. corner lights, mirrors etc.) from a large order (e.g. orders with hoods, bumpers or whole front end kits) cannot be shipped, credit may only be for the part without an adjustment in shipping. This is because shipping charges are based on the dimensions of the box.


  3. CANCELING ORDERS: Once your payment has been confirmed we cannot change or cancel your order, as the order will be immediately processed for shipment. Please double check your order prior to submitting your order. We want you to receive the correct part for your vehicle, so please do not hesitate to contact us prior to ordering at: sales@interbodyparts.com. Refusal of the shipment from the carrier will result in the 25% restocking fee, and a two-way shipping charge. We strongly recommend that you accept the merchandise and then proceed through our normal return process.


  4. RECEIVING PARTS: Please inspect the parts immediately after receiving your order. Damages and evidence of tampering on the outer packaging must be noted on the delivery receipt of the driver. DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 24 HOURS of receiving the order. No exceptions. WRONG ITEMS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS of receiving the order. No exceptions. For damaged items- We will file a claim with the carrier and we will ship another item. Shipping Damages are very frustrating to both you and us. Please understand that in these cases we are trying to do the best we can and usually it is the carrier that slows up the process. KEEP THE BOX AND MERCHANDISE FOR DAMAGE CLAIM PROCEDURES. DO NOT REFUSE SHIPMENT! Email pictures of the damage to sales@interbodyparts.com and we will have a new part shipped out as quickly as possible.


  5. INCORRECT PARTS: Although we do everything we can to get the right part to you, mistakes can happen on rare occasions. If we ship the wrong part, we will pick it up and replace it. Please let us know immediately if you receive the wrong part by emailing our Customer Service Desk at sales@interbodyparts.com. The replacement item will be shipped when we receive the wrong item. Replacements will be shipped based on the original shipping method. Interbodypart.com is not responsible for buyer's errors. (especially left and right mistakes - left is driver side, and the right side is the passenger side of the vehicle).


  6. WARRANTIES: A limited 90-day warranty provided by the manufacturer applies to all parts unless otherwise stated. The manufacturer warrants all parts to be free from defects in workmanship and material. It covers the replacement of a defective part within the original warranty period. Warranties do not include any service fee’s associated with installing parts. All used parts in stock are as is with no warranty (unless other wise stated). If a replacement part cannot be obtained, a full refund, for the cost of the part only, will be issued to the original purchaser. Warranty claims and/or exchanges are subject to presentation of the original sales invoice. Warranties are limited to the original purchaser and are non-transferable. Our liability is restricted to the amount of the original sale. The warranty does not cover failure due to abuse, misuse, improper repairs or maintenance, improper installation, alteration or modification. The warranty does not cover freight charges, cost of parts removal, normal wear and tear, and consequential or subsequent damages. (Freight charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.)


  7. RETURNING A PART: Unless otherwise stated above, you may return a part for a refund within 3 days

    Item must be post marked with in 3 of receiving it. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee (based on the cost of the part). FREIGHT CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. All returns must be returned via traceable means (e.g. UPS, USPS w/tracking or Fed-Ex) to insure their safe return. We recommend you insure your return. You are responsible for the safe return of the product. If a return arrives to us damaged, or incomplete in any way, we will notify you and we will retain the product all packing materials for 30 days for your selected freight companies inspection. It is your responsibility as the shipper to file a claim with the freight company you choose. It is our responsibility as the receiver to notify the freight company of items that arrive damaged by them. You will not receive credit or an exchange from us if your return is damaged in transit back to us. Items purchased that are not needed are not returnable for a refund. This includes but is not limited to gifts, parts for vehicles that have been sold or damaged, and parts ordered in error. Your account will be credited within three business days of your part being received, inspected and approved for return.


  8. CUSTOMER CARE: There are actions we suggest all consumers take prior to and during any online order transaction.


    1. LEFT SIDE IS DRIVER SIDE and RIGHT SIDE IS PASSENGER SIDE on all vehicles.


    2. If you are unsure if the part is correct for a vehicle PLEASE contact us before ordering. We are very happy to research and make sure you are getting the right part. We do not want to sell you something that will not work for you. Please note, we can not be responsible for incorrectly ordered items. We make every effort to ship the part you order. It still remains the customer’s responsibility to understand the drivers side of the car is the left side, and the passenger side is the right side. It remains the customers responsiblility to know what year of vehicle they have, and pay attention to what years we state the parts fit. These are common issues that we would like to eliminate for your order. Note: Our warehouse employees go by the PART NUMBER you order, and description of the parts you order, not the pictures at our website. The pictures are there to help you see what you are purchasing, and are there for example only.


    3. Please inspect all items when you receive them. All warranty periods begin on the date of receipt.


    4. Please CAREFULLY inspect items prior to installation. This includes prior to delivering them to a third party for installation. We reserve the right to charge a restock fee or refuse credit on parts that have been installed or attempted to install.


    5. Research installation procedures. Improper installation by the customer or any third party voids any and all warranties.


    6. If you have any reservations that the part you need is not the part that we offer, and you wish to correctly identify if this is the exact part for your application, please contact your local dealer with your VIN and the part you are looking for. Your dealer will give you an OEM# for your part. You can then verify that the OEM #'s match to ensure that you are purchasing the correct part.
